Where to post events

For many years, I enjoyed providing a social calendar as a clearinghouse of sorts for non-profit organizations.  However, things have changed in my business and our way of doing business as PR professionals and event planners.

Therefore, I have decided to discontinue the social calendar service.  It's probably just as difficult as ever, to find a date that won't conflict with another event. However, our counties have grown and hopefully everyone understands their audience well enough to know what other events might be a conflict.  We really need a calendar that has extra Fridays and Saturdays from November to April, but I don't think that is likely to happen anytime soon.

Here are my suggestions as to where to check for events and to post your events. Please let me know if you have one you'd be willing to share and I will post it as well. Please note, these are not all hyperlinks.

TCPALM.COM - The  Yes Desk has most unfortuately been dismantled making it much harder to figure out who to contact. Remember, personal contact is still importnat.

Check this link for their staff directory.

Eventful.com - the new way TC Palm.com posts events and it is used by many other companies as well.
